I spent my birthday in Monterey, CA (again)! I just love this city so much. It was my grandparents' favorite getaway spot and now it is mine and Dillon's as well. The kiddos looooove when we take them to the beach and to see the fish in the aquarium. We started the day at Wave Street Cafe. (good food, big portions, kind of pricey.) We've eaten here several times and opted to go again because we knew they were pet friendly, and we had Pearl with us. She did really good on this trip! We dropped Pearl off at the doggy daycare and headed to the aquarium!

At the Monterey Bay Aquarium...
We bought a membership for the kids for Christmas so that all year we could visit and money wouldn't be an issue! It was SO worth it. We make it to Monterey about every other month, so they paid for themselves.
After the aquarium...
Afterwards, we grabbed starbucks and rode on a surrey as a family! These are from my phone!
We also got a pizza from Tricycle Pizza! Superrrrr good!
After this we got Pearl and on our way to the beach the kids fell asleep. We decided to just head home to get a jumpstart on the holiday weekend! :-)
I had so much fun! The following day we went bowling and then I had dinner with my best friend!
We also were given tickets to Disneyland from my other best friends! That was a huge surprise!
Then- my family and Dillon had a surprise party/ dinner for me. That was the best!
