practicing, because growth takes so much practice!

Hey everyone! I am just kind of playing around with some old photos and figured I'd share the before/afters of each practice session I end up doing tonight. If you haven't noticed, I am really passionate about my growth and investing in myself. I love to listen to podcasts, watch youtube videos, read tutorials, order new classes, etc! I have been really trying to embrace new styles and take my photos to a whole new fairytale level, rather than deep toned photos!

Let me stop babbling away and just get to the photos! First up, my dear friend Adrina! I forced her to take these photos and I plan to go through them and re-edit them AGAIN because I want to make them super magical. I really didn't have a style at the time and was just starting out and now that I've edited soooooo many photos, I just really want to re-do some.

Original from camera on the left, my new edit on the right.

Hopefully uploading these online won't totally take away how beautiful the colors are in the photo! I like the way this new edit turned out so much more than the original edit that I sent her. I will be sending her all of the new edits to make up for it!

Next up! My younger sister Marissa's senior photo! I did that same fairytale edit on this one and really love it. The first time I edited it, I left it very bold and deep in colors. I still love that edit, but love this one as well!

Next... Rachel's senior photo!

OKAY! So first thing I REALLY want to stress to people about WHY photographer's prices can be worth the cost....... EDITING! And by that I do NOT just mean the colors and what not! I mean..... I TOOK THE TIME TO TAKE THE RED SHIRT PEOPLE OUT OF HER PHOTO! If you're not fluent in a photo editing software, you may look at that photo and toss it to the side. But if you're like me.... The others I took of her in this pose were blurry or just not as greatly timed! This one HAD to work. I loved it! So that is just my little rant on why hiring a professional is worth it!

Last for tonight! Selena's beautifully smiling self! I again just made it really bright
and fairytale-esque. I hope tonight's edit look goo to y'all!
